I received a voice message from Congressman Schiff today. He had his meeting with the Secretary of the Navy and presented our petitions. He said the Secretary was very receptive and he agreed to bring the issue up with the Secretary of Defense. Congressman Schiff said that he would work on setting up his own meeting with the Secretary of Defense.
This all sounds very encouraging - we'll keep you posted. Please keep up your efforts to support this effort - thanks!
